Panorama Retreat & Resort (previously CountryPlace) is an award-winning, 4 STAR hotel, located close to Melbourne at Kalorama in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges.
Accommodation includes 60 guest rooms in the main complex and a fully self-contained 2 bedroom cottage. The accommodation is suitable for groups of up to 124 guests.
Panorama Retreat & Resort is surrounded by magnificent gardens displaying rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas, maples, chestnuts and hundreds of flowering native plants. Feel free to wander in the gardens and enjoy the flowering native bushes that provide habitat for the local native birds and flower arrangements for the venue.

These beautiful birds have been photographed on the property or nearby. Local birds feeding from and enjoying the carefully chosen flowering species added to the gardens over the last 20 years.
There are many gorgeous species to be found, each with their own distinctive call. The early morning carolling of the resident magpies. The dee-dee-dee-ah-WHIT of the colourful Golden Whistler. The pleasant and softly rasping of the rainbow lorikeets. And, of course, the ever-present chock, kok, kak-kak-KAK-KAK-kook-kook, kok of the friendly laughing kookaburra.

Shiloah Cottage
A charming Cottage, a self-contained retreat for up to four people. Enjoy two comfortable bedrooms with king-size beds and two bathrooms for added convenience. The 2 king-size beds can be split into 4 single beds upon request.
Relax in the lounge area with a TV and DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, stove top, microwave, and toaster. Laundry facilities are available, and linen and towels are provided. Stay comfortable with air conditioning and heating. Step outside to the terrace and enjoy the fresh air.
